Founded in 2016 the Long Island Nets are a professional basketball team of the NBA G League and an affiliate of the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Brooklyn Nets. Based in Nassau County, the team plays home games at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale. The Nets became the twelfth D-League team to be owned by an NBA team.
